UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge

What a week!  I am so glad it's over! A week ago Wednesday areas around Ft. Worth were hit by tornados and then this past week the Nation watched as Moore, Oklahoma was completely devastated by a tornado.  I feel so terrible for all those who have lost not only their homes but their loved ones as well.  The one thing I take heart in is how people have responded with love and support for all these communities.  God is good and is evident in this help!

This week's sketch is so wonderful!   I think it could be used in so many ways.  I saw a flower done like mine on a blog somewhere this week but I'm sorry, I don't remember whose it was.  Thank you for the inspiration though!  Here's our sketch:

UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge

My heart goes out to all those effected by Wednesday's devastating tornadoes.  They we all around our Metroplex area and much damage was done, not only by the tornadoes themselves but the resulting high winds and hail. 


It seems like spring just got here and now summer is coming.  With all the changes in the weather around here, people are having a lot of allegy problems.  As I was making this card, I knew I wanted to use our precious doilies and had the idea of folding them.  Here's the sketch:

I needed to add a sentiment and I remembered that my up-up-upline gave us a gift at convention last year of a stamp from the Sassy Salutations set.  I chose Feel Better and I thought it was the perfect complement to my card.  Don't the doilies remind you of soft little hankies????

Hi everybody!!!  What a wild weather week we have had this week!  80 degrees for two days then yesterday it was in the 40s and rainy!  We have a wonderful weekend in store for us though so let's start it off with a sketch, okay?
